This September, Tradebe exhibited at the Association of University Radiation Protection Officers’ (AURPO) Annual Conference at the University of Leicester. The event attracted professionals involved in Radiation Protection in Universities and Institutions of equivalent status, from across the country. Bob Hilliard and Bruce Wilson represented Tradebe at the exhibition.
Tradebe joined other AURPO members in attending the organisation’s Annual Conference, an event which includes the organisation’s Annual General Meeting, Annual Dinner and a comprehensive exhibition, giving our delegates the opportunity to meet and network with current and prospective clients, to whom many of our products and services are essential.
This event enabled our Tradebe representatives to form business relationships, identify potential opportunities, share information and seek potential partners for future collaboration, including attendees from universities, academic and commercial research organisations, the Medical sector, Industrial, Consultancies and other groups.
AURPO’s principal aim is to increase knowledge and understanding of radiation protection through the promotion and interchange of information, and as such its membership comes from universities and other establishments involved in the training of undergraduates and graduates in the fields of science, engineering and medicine. Founded in 1962 with the objective of promoting safety and knowledge in the use of ionising and non-ionising radiations, the Association is consulted by a number of Government and other organisations responsible for drafting new legislation on various matters relating to all aspects of radiation protection.
