Tradebe operates three high temperature incineration facilities for the final disposal of clinical waste.
- Wrexham - Our incinerator in Clwyd, North Wales is a Waste-to-Energy facility with the permitted capacity to incinerate approximately 8,000 tonnes of waste per annum. The facility accepts clinical waste from across the local areas including local hospitals, GPs, dentists, veterinary practices, care homes, pharmacies, tattooists, beauticians etc.
- Redditch - Our incinerator in Worchester has the permitted capacity to incinerate approximately 10,000 tonnes of waste per annum. Similar to Wrexham, the facility accepts clinical waste from across the local areas including local hospitals, GPs, dentists etc.
- Fawley – Our Fawley incinerator based in Hampshire is one of the UK’s largest facilities for the final disposal of hazardous waste, including clinical waste. This incinerator is permitted to process a total of 45,000 tonnes of hazardous waste per annum. This facility has a hoist feed route suitable for standard wheelie bins containing clinical waste. Suitable Clinical Waste
Clinical waste streams that are not suitable for alternative treatment are disposed of through incineration.
