Tradebe judges Impressed with Children’s Artistic Talent in the 1st Annual Knottingley Safety Calendar

The competition took place amongst the young family members of Tradebe Knottingley employees who were tasked with creating artwork that reflects and reinforces the site’s safety messages. The artwork has now been incorporated into the Tradebe Knottingley Health & Safety Site Calendar, which focusses on promoting the importance of health and safety in life and in the workplace.

The judges have been consulted, the verdicts are in and we can now announce the winner of the 2019 Knottingley safety calendar competition!

The winning young artists received first, second and third placed prizes, with all other artwork also included within the calendar. We were so impressed with the entries that it was extremely difficult to decide on our winners.

The winners are:

1st Place: Ayven Rockett, age 6
2nd Place: Hattie Vickers-Pearson, age 14
3rd Place: Evie Haigh, age 5

Our budding artists were proud to display their artwork and receive their personalised water bottles as a thanks for helping us spread the message of site health and safety.

As part of Tradebe Knottingley’s ongoing health and safety drive, these new calendars will act as a reminder to stay safe in the workplace. “We want to encourage our Knottingley colleagues to speak to their children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces about what we do at Tradebe Knottingley, and the importance of health & safety”, said Sudhir Tukra, Knottingley Site Manager. “We believe this will not only help to educate our younger family members, but also to re-enforce our site safety messages.”

Congratulations and thanks go to all of our budding artists for their help in reminding us how to stay safe and healthy in the workplace throughout 2020 and beyond!
