TRADEBE UK has officially become a member of the Solvent Industry Association (SIA), becoming the first recycling specialist to join the organisation through our activities in solvent recycling and supply and distribution. Our membership will provide a new field of expertise to the SIA and its Technical Committee, and provide the opportunity to contribute a valuable understanding of the solvent life cycle to our fellow members.
As a company with sustainability at the heart of everything we do, Tradebe will be well placed to assist other SIA members in their contributions to the circular economy. While we already work closely with many SIA members, our participation in SIA will enable us to gain a better understanding of this core market.
Established in 1973, the SIA supports the UK solvents industry and consumers in the promotion of the safe and responsible use of solvent materials. The SIA membership is comprised of solvent manufacturers, distributors, hauliers, packaging manufacturers and other solvent-related companies. The main function of the SIA is to promote the UK solvents industry and to ensure that the UK regulatory framework relevant to the manufacture, storage, distribution and use of solvents is based on sound science and best practice.
