Last month Tradebe UK sites participated in the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning, hosting bake sales, selling raffle tickets and raising money for a worthy cause. After consolidating all donations from 15 sites across the UK we are delighted to announce that £2,395.23 has been raised by Tradebe employees for Macmillan Cancer Support this September! This brings our total Macmillan funds raised by UK sites over the last four years to an astonishing £8,952.21!
Tradebe UK representatives decorated our sites with balloons, banners and flags, and baked and sold cakes, pies, tarts, bacon butties and raffle tickets, once again showing their commitment to helping such an important cause. Across the country, our employees collectively baked more than 100 different cakes and pastries, and sold over 1500 tickets for the company raffle, with all prizes donated by Tradebe.
We would like once again to thanks our site representatives for helping to pull our coffee morning events together, rounding up our keenest bakers, diligently selling raffle tickets and encouraging much needed donations. At Tradebe we pride ourselves on our community spirit, and events such as these could not take place and grow to the level of success we have achieved without the hard work and dedication of our site representatives.
All proceeds from the event will go towards helping Macmillan Cancer Support continue its work providing support for cancer patients and their families, a cause we proudly endorse.
