We are pleased to announce that Aberdeen based Scotoil Services (A Tradebe Company); a leading provider of sustainable environmental solutions, principally for the oil and gas industry is a finalist for the national honour in the Excellence in Collaboration category at the prominent 2018 Decom North Sea Awards.

Hosted by Decom North Sea, the single topic, multi region membership organisation working to enhance knowledge transfer and facilitate collaborative activities to deliver “innovative models” that minimise decommissioning costs, the inaugural Decom North Sea Awards is the first industry awards to be dedicated to decommissioning excellence. The awards will recognise the efforts of Decom North Sea members to innovate and collaborate within the sector.

NS Decom with the alliance of Scotoil Services and Norsea are finalists for the Excellence in Collaboration category. Craig Smith, Managing Director of Scotoil Services said: “I am absolutely delighted that NS Decom with the alliance of Scotoil and Norsea are finalists for this award. Our Scotoil team has worked tirelessly to deliver great service, collaboration and innovation in this field and we are very excited to be recognised in this way. This inaugural nomination is a testament to their hard work and expertise, and I am extremely proud of this achievement."

Decom North Sea’s interim Chief Executive, Tom Leeson, said: “As the only membership organisation dedicated to decommissioning, it is a pleasure to highlight the pioneering work performed in the sector through the first Decom North Sea Awards. The quality of the award entries we received is testament to this, with some fantastic examples of true innovation and hard work.

“For Decom North Sea, these awards are a brilliant way to transfer our learnings within the sector across the global oil and gas industry, as well as celebrating the efforts of our members.
