Willacy Oil Services is able to offer a fully integrated solution to oily sludge management. Post centrifuge cake and other oily solids can be treated via an indirect heat Thermal Desorption system to reduce volumes to an absolute minimum. Low and high temperature systems are already operated by Tradebe around the world and can be installed on-site to make the refinery self-sufficient in terms of oily sludge management.
These systems are designed to remove the remaining hydrocarbon contamination from post-centrifuge cake, reducing volumes and producing a non-hazardous solid output. Working closely with our parent company, Tradebe, a fully integrated and costed proposal to handle on-site sludge arisings can be developed.
Willacy Oil Services is also able to offer a complete design, build and operate package for centrifuge and Thermal Desorption plants.
Via our Dinnington Recycle Centre in the UK, Willacy Oil Services is also to offer off-site Thermal Desorption treatment, where the remaining hydrocarbons can be recovered and re-used. For those wastes not suitable for Thermal Desorption , High Temperature Incineration is available through our Fawley facility.
New systems currently under research and development include waste to energy technologies to offer further environmental solutions to the treatment of post centrifuge cake and other suitable wastes.
